Medical Network for Education and Research (MedNet) is a Georgia based 501c3 non-profit organization supported by grants and contributions.
The Mission of the MedNet is to improve medical outcomes, promote preventive healthcare and improve the quality of life for Georgia residents by sponsoring educational projects and conducting social and clinical research.
MedNet focuses on educating healthcare providers and the community at large about the importance of minority participation in clinical research.
If you have ever taken a pill or been treated for a sickness, you have seen the benefit of clinical research. Each year, thousands of African Americans take part in the clinical research projects that help find ways to prevent, treat and cure sickness. Clinical research helps African Americans and all people enjoy better health. The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) www.ciscrp.org
